Daphne soap
Daphne soap is produced from the berries of laurel trees, which grow in the hills and valleys around Antakya in the south of Turkey. The soap, which is made by a complicated process from pure Oil of Daphne, keeps the skin soft and moisturized. Hand Woven Local Silk
The first silk in Turkey was woven in Harbiye (Antakya). Because of its location, Harbiye was an important stop on the Spice Road.A man named Yusuf El-Hekim (Yusuf the Doctor) was the primary silk weaver in Harbiye and contributed much to the silk industry at that time.
